A Perry County man has been charged with assault in Hale County this week. Warkela Johnson of Uniontown was arrested by the Hale County Sheriff’s Office on Monday, February 24 and charged with Assault 2nd degree stemming from an incident which court records say occurred on September 23, 2023.
