KYSER GIRLS ARE ACCOMPLISHED TURKEY HUNTERS—From left to right, sisters Mary Elizabeth Kyser, Taylor Kyser, and Martha Kyser all bagged some very respectable gobblers during the past turkey season. All three birds were taken in Hale County, as the girls hunted with their father, Ashley Kyser.

    With the recent rainfall across the state, cooler temps, and higher humidity — especially good overnight recovery (humidities of 60% or greater) — the chance of significant wildfire potential has decreased.
