Newbern Library released the following announcement this week: “As part of our salute to Craft Month, the Newbern Library is very happy to have Jessica Parsons doing a weaving presentation on March 19:. Parsons is with Weaving Alabama, a weaving studio and yarn shop in Northport. She has been weaving professionally for many years and is a former Kentucky Demonstrating Artist. Her weavings have been sold world wide. She will be at the library starting at 10:00. Also we will have a local knitter and weaver Frances Sullivan, who will assist all participants in doing a small weaving project to take home.
