Bruce Freeman Payne passed away on March 6, 2022 at the age of 57 after a brief illness. He is preceded in death by his parents Oscar and Shirley Payne. He was born Oct. 5, 1964. He is survived by his brother, Larry Payne (Tamika) nephew, Lawrence Payne and special friend, Charlsea Goins. Bruce worked for Southern Pride Catfish and Hanna Trucking for over 30 years. His love for driving trucks over the open road was like no other. He will also be remembered for his love of Alabama football, hunting, fishing, and riding a tractor. He will be so greatly missed by his family, friends and everyone who met him. A private graveside service for family and close friends will be held at Five Mile Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery, Thursday, March 10, 2022 with Magnolia Chapel South directing. Services will be officiated by Bro. Luke Laird. Pallbearers will be Donald Morrison, Keith Payne, Ralph Brown, David Nevin, Barry Kelly, and Zach Holston.
