Greensboro Elementary learning rectangular prisms

Mr. Jones’ fifth grade students at Greensboro Elementary have been learning to find the volume of rectangular prisms. Last week, the students created and combined two rectangular prisms to find the total volume. The project culminated with the students constructing a skyscraper from the different sized prisms and then calculating its volume.

Main Street festival is here this weekend

Downtown Greensboro will come alive this Saturday, April 22, as the town’s first Main Street Community Festival.
