Omega Psi Phi chapter accepting scholarship applications

The Omega Chi Chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. is accepting applications for two scholarships for the 2026 academic year.

The Omega Chi Scholarship, valued at $500, is open to all high school seniors residing in Dallas, Perry, Wilcox, Lowndes, and Hale counties. The William T. “Ty” Bryant Memorial Scholarship, also valued at $500, is available to Selma High School seniors only.

The deadline to apply is April 17, 2026. Students may see their local guidance counselor for an application or contact Judge Collins Pettaway Jr. by email at collins_pettawayjr@yahoo.com for paper applications and further information.
