Roger Throw and his wife Ann visited the Hale County Community Health and Wellness CareStation at the Akron Public Library on October 30th to see a demonstration of the OnMed CareStation. Throw, a 2020- 2021 Auburn University Scholar in Residence, is an author, journalist, and activist known for writing about the politics of world hunger. Throw currently serves as a senior fellow for global agriculture and food policy for the Chicago Council on Global Affairs.
