Hale County Sheriff’s Department released the following report of the department’s recent activities:

Arrests:

1-08-2025
James Nelson Gracie Jr., 49, of Demopolis, was arrested for failure to appear.

Theft of property and theft of property in the first degree were reported on U.S. Highway 80 near Gallion.

1-07-2025
Theft of services in the second degree was reported on Brown Road near Greensboro.

A miscellaneous incident was reported on Old Greensboro Road near Uniontown.

Larceny/theft was reported on Highway 14 near Sawyerville.

1-08-2025
Harassing communications were reported on County Road 28 near Sawyerville.

1-09-2025
Criminal trespass was reported on Alabama Highway 69 near Moundville.
