Edward Oswell Eddins, III, 52, died at his home in Faunsdale, Alabama on September 1, 2023. He is survived by his wife Lee Ann, children, Ellen Marie and William Thomas, sisters, Katherine Eddins and Ellen Eddins Beidler, nieces, Julia Anne Eddins and Katherine Eddins Beidler, and mother-in-law, Ellen Ousley. He is preceded in death by his parents, Edward Oswell Eddins, Jr. and Margaret Milner Eddins.
Ed was a cattleman and avid outdoorsman. He particularly enjoyed improving the soil and enhancing wildlife habitat on his beloved farm and forestland. He was deeply devoted to his wife and children, and spent much time with his family hunting, fishing, and recreating outdoors.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 6 at 11:00 am at Trinity Episcopal Church in Demopolis, Alabama, 401 North Main Avenue. The service followed at 12:00.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Trinity Episcopal Church in Demopolis and to the St. Andrews Church Cemetery Memorial Fund.
