Imogene Hannah Sullivan, age 80 of Moundville, passed away January 2, 2023 at home. A graveside service was held on Friday, January 6, 2023 at 2:00 pm with Rev. Ray Sullivan officiating and Magnolia Chapel South directing.

- Pleasant Grove MBC sets Family and Friends Day for Oct. 18Pleasant Grove Missionary Baptist Church, 4209 Highway 14, Greensboro, will hold Family and Friends Day at 11 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 18. The day is also Pink Sunday for Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and the church’s flyer asks those who come to wear pink. The Rev. Dr. C. Greensboro Middle School announced its 2026-27 Student Government Association cabinet recently. The officers are Nadia Johnson, president; Andreanna Jones, vice president; Hailey Quinney, secretary; Ryann Johnson, assistant secretary; Kevin Hurns, treasurer; Tyleeia Hogan, reporter; and Lelana Long, sergeant-at-arms.
