Lula Mae Barker, 85, passed away on February 13, 2022. Daughter of Dave Barker, Sr., and Annie Brown, Lula was born on April 25, 1936. Baptized at an early age, Lula served in the Kingdom Hall loyally. Preceding Lula in death were: her parents; son, Donald D. Barker; brothers, Dave Barker, Arthur Scott, and O.C. Hoskins; sisters, Sadie Barker, Susie McCrae, and Martha Jones. She is survived by: children, Ricky D. Barker (Sheila) of Birmingham, Reginald G. Barker, Ronald A. Barker, and Kimbly M. Reed (Melvin), all of Greensboro; brother, Dan Barker of Columbus, Mississippi; sisters, Bertha Barker of Florida and Barbara Patterson of Tuscaloosa; as well as seven grandchildren, a great-grandchild, and a host of other relatives and friends. Services for Lula Mae Barker were on February 19, 2022, at the Sarah Christian Cemetery in Greensboro. Brother Eddie Hutton, Sr., officiated.
