Hale County Sheriff’s Department has released the following report of the department’s recent activity:

Arrests

March 2, 2026

  • Jahtil Lucious, 35, of Moundville was arrested for truancy.

March 3, 2026

  • Selena Foster, 25, of Moundville was arrested for bond forfeiture.
  • Terrell Kimble Smith, 28, of Boligee was arrested for failure to appear.
  • Samuel Dewayne Portis, 23, of Duncanville was arrested for failure to appear.

March 4, 2026

  • Frank Hollie Jr., 71, of Akron was arrested for criminal mischief 3rd (two counts).
  • Shaqanna Paige, 30, of Sawyerville was arrested for truancy.
  • Samuel L. Braggs Jr., 51, of Eutaw was arrested for child support.
  • Shakiki Hill, 40, of Greensboro was arrested for theft of property 1st.

March 5, 2026

  • Teniqua Rashawn Lewis, 32, of Sawyerville was arrested for failure to appear (three counts).

March 6, 2026

  • Cleveland Harris, 78, of Greensboro was arrested for violation of a domestic violence protection order.

  • Harassing communications was reported on Pepple Drive near Sawyerville.
  • Harassing communications was reported on County Road 77 near Sawyerville.

March 6, 2026

  • Harassment was reported on Chestnut Road near Akron.
