Applications Now Open for Summer Dual Enrollment at Shelton State Community College

The Shelton State Community College (SSCC) Dual Enrollment summer application is now open. Returning and new Dual Enrollment students are eligible for one free course that includes tuition, books and fees.

Scholarships will be awarded on a first come, first served basis.

What Is Dual Enrollment?

Dual Enrollment allows eligible high school students to enroll in college classes at the same time as their high school classes. Students successfully completing dual enrollment classes receive both high school and college credit.

Classes can be taken at students’ respective high schools, SSCC’s Martin and Fredd Campuses, and online.

  • Shrove Tuesday Pancake Supper – Feb. 17 at St. Paul’s
    St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Greensboro will hold its annual Shrove Tuesday Pancake Supper on Tuesday, Feb. 17, in the parish hall at 905 Church Street in Greensboro. Serving will be from 5:30-7:30 p.m., and tickets are $5 per person or $15 for families of four or more. Tickets may be purchased at the door. The community is invited to come out for good food and fellowship on the eve of Lent.
