HCSD reports arrests for failure to appear, DUI, unemployment compensation violation

Hale County Sheriff’s Dept. has released the following report of the department’s recent activity:

Arrests:

January 19, 2026
Kendarius McGuffie, 25, of Opelika, was arrested for failure to appear.
Dakesha Jalese Greene, 36, of Greensboro, was arrested for two counts of failure to appear.

January 20, 2026
Miranda Latrice Hall, 49, of Birmingham, was arrested for four counts of failure to appear.
Johnathan Wesley York, 41, of Moundville, was arrested for domestic violence, third degree.
Christopher Keith York, 38, of Moundville, was arrested for domestic violence, third degree.

January 21, 2026
Charlotte Edwards, 27, of Uniontown, was arrested for three counts of failure to appear.

January 22, 2026
Joseph Turner, 68, of Greensboro, was arrested for driving under the influence.
Lue David Suttles, 46, of Marion, is being held for investigation by an outside agency.

January 23, 2026
Jamarcus D. Dansby, 26, of Akron, was arrested for failure to appear.
Judy L. Jones, 38, of Akron, was arrested for criminal mischief, first degree.
Tevin Michael Richardson, 34, of Gallion, was arrested for driving while revoked.
Shirley Demetria Williams, 51, of Greensboro, was arrested for an unemployment compensation violation.

January 25, 2026
Terry C. House Jr., 50, of Minter, was arrested for driving while suspended.
Daniel P. Webb, 33, of Tuscaloosa, was arrested for resisting arrest, attempting to elude, assault, second degree, and possession of a controlled substance.

Incidents:

January 23, 2026
Harassment was reported on Whitsitt Loop Road near Newbern.
Larceny/theft was reported on Jasmine Road near Greensboro.
