The Hale County Animal Shelter still has spots available in their “Mailboxes for Mutts” program. Each year the shelter offers Greensboro and Lock 5 area residents the option to have their mailboxes painted in a festive way to show their support for their ongoing operations. Those interested may donate $75 for each mailbox they wish to have painted. Details on locations and other information will be shared with individuals once donations are secured.
As of writing, there are 25 spots still available for Greensboro and Lock 5 residents to show their support. All proceeds go toward the Hale County Animal Shelter, as well as their spay and neuter clinics.
