HCSD reports arrests for failure to appear, criminal trespass, child support this week

The Hale County Sheriff’s Dept. has released the following report of the department’s recent activity:

Arrests

November 10, 2025

  • Terence Demonta Williams, 31, of Akron, was arrested for criminal trespass, third degree, and theft of property, fourth degree.
  • Joel Paul Brown, 39, of Greensboro, was arrested for child support.

November 14, 2025

  • Rashad Jarel Wells, 39, of Tuscaloosa, was arrested for failure to appear.

November 15, 2025

  • Kimberly Smith, 37, of Greensboro, was arrested for possession of marijuana, second degree.

Incidents

November 11, 2025

  • Theft of property, second degree, was reported on Birch Road near Faunsdale.

November 12, 2025

  • Cruelty to animals was reported on Jackson Road near Sawyerville.
  • Domestic violence, first degree, and domestic-violence strangulation/suffocation—assault were reported on L. Street near Akron.

November 13, 2025

  • Harassment was reported on Thomas Lane near Greensboro.

November 14, 2025

  • Theft/lost property, third degree, was reported on Calico Lane near Sawyerville.

November 15, 2025

  • A miscellaneous report was taken on Main Street near Greensboro.
