HCSD reports arrests for FTA, firearm possession, burglary, and theft of property

Hale County Sheriff’s Dept. has released the follow report of the department’s recent activity:

Arrests:
Oct. 13, 2025
Ashley G. Waller, 32, of Sawyerville, was arrested for failure to appear (four counts).

Candi Arneisha Johnson, 41, of Greensboro, was arrested for failure to appear (three counts).

Oct. 14, 2025
Kendrick Desroches, 39, of Sawyerville, was arrested for certain persons in possession of a firearm.

Stormie Paige Nichols, 33, of Moundville, was arrested for truancy and failure to appear.

Oct. 16, 2025
Anthony Hopkins, 41, of Marion, was arrested for third-degree burglary (two counts), first-degree receiving stolen property, attempted theft of property 1st (two counts), and failure to appear (two counts).

Oct. 18, 2025
Johnathan Oneal Paige, 25, of Greensboro, was arrested for possession of a controlled substance and resisting arrest.

Oct. 19, 2025
Justin Kuante Smith, 26, of Bessemer, was arrested for first-degree theft of property, attempting to elude, and resisting arrest.

Third-degree burglary was reported on Holbrook Place near Greensboro.

Oct. 16, 2025
First-degree theft of property was reported on County Road 5 near Akron.

Oct. 18, 2025
A miscellaneous report was taken on County Road 64 near Moundville.

Oct. 19, 2025
Second-degree theft of property was reported on Cottonwood Lane near Faunsdale.
