Christeen Robinson was born on December 28, 1946, to the late Tom King and Catherine King. She passed away on June 12, 2025.

She confessed hope in Christ at an early age and joined Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church in Greensboro. She later moved to Flint, Michigan, before returning to Tuscaloosa, Alabama, where she reunited with Mt. Zion. There, she served on the Pastor’s Aid Board, the Usher Board, and was a member of the Senior Choir. Her hobbies included sewing, and she operated a daycare where she helped raise several children. Above all, she loved her family deeply.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 59 years, Jonathan Robinson; her son, Terrell Robinson; two brothers, Henry King and Harold King; and four sisters, Lillie McDonald, Ida King, Ernestine King, and Mattie King.

She is survived by four sisters: Celelia (Freddie) Harris, Ruby King, Katherine King, and Patrica (Darryl) Agnew; one brother, Bro. Lee King of Greensboro; two stepchildren, Donnie Robinson of Michigan and Vanessa Dawson; and nine sisters-in-law: Adell King of Greensboro, Annie Smith of Demopolis, Shirley (Dave) Petway of Atmore, Ollie Williams, Darlene (Lorenzo) Long, Pamela (Johnny) Lawson, Mildred Williams, Jannett Williams, and Ethel Robinson of Moundville. She also leaves behind four brothers-in-law: Billy Scott, Jackie Dixon, Michael (Christy) Dixon of Birmingham, and Anthony (Teressa) Dixon of Indiana.

She was a godmother to Cindy Agnew, Nakita Tanyell Smith, Zion Lewis, Jazelyn King, Careleigh Moss, Mr. and Mrs. Demond Moss.

She is also remembered by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and many friends who loved her dearly.

Services were held on Saturday, June 21, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church in Greensboro, Alabama. Pastor Antonio Shelton officiated.
