Lucille Bryant passed away on May 16. A viewing was held on Friday, May 23, at Melvin Miller Funeral Service in Marion.

A Celebration of Life took place on Saturday, May 24, 2025, at 1:30 p.m. at Reynolds Chapel Church on Highway 48 in Newbern. Interment followed at McCreary Cemetery on Highway 61 in Newbern.
