The Friends of Hale County Animals (FHCA) will host its second annual “Paws for a Night with Friends” fundraiser on Friday, June 6th at Project Horseshoe Farm Courtyard/ Ballroom from 6-8pm. Money raised will help support Hale County Animal Shelter and FHCA’s spay and neuter program. Tickets to enter are $25 per person which will include hors d’oeuvres and entry for door prizes. In addition, raffle tickets will be sold for pieces from local artists and items from businesses in the community that have been graciously donated for the event. FHCA t-shirts will also be soldthat evening. “Although we continue to raise money for Hale County Animal Shelter, FHCA has pivoted to include efforts to start spay and neuter programs in our county,” said president Buzzy Barnette. “By reducing the number of unwanted pets born, we will in turn help the shelter.” Friends of Hale County Animals is a nonprofit 501(c)3 organization.
