Mt. Carmel Church, located on Hwy. 14 east of Greensboro, will be having Homecoming on Sunday, May 18, beginning at 10:30 a.m. Bro. Roger Harper will be bringing the message. A covered dish lunch will be served at noon followed by an afternoon of music featuring Legacy Gospel.

A two-vehicle crash that occurred at approximately 7:05 p.m. Friday, May 2, has claimed the life of a Camden juvenile. The 18- year-old was fatally injured when the 2016 Nissan Altima the teen was a passenger in, struck the 2023 Chevrolet Tahoe driven by Heather R. Hill, 37, of Gallion.
