Hale County Sheriff’s Department released the following report of the department’s recent activities:
Arrests:
April 3, 2025
Antwan Armstrong, 43, of Greensboro, was arrested for failure to appear.
April 4, 2025
Jackie Sanders, 73, of Sawyerville, was arrested for assault in the third degree.
April 5, 2025
Darren William Driver, 36, of Duncanville, was arrested for driving under the influence.
Ternisha Lashon Thomas, 30, of Greensboro, was arrested for resisting arrest and disorderly conduct.
Glenn Markeith Brown, 32, of Tuscaloosa, was arrested for a probation violation, criminal mischief in the third degree, and domestic violence.
Incidents:
March 31, 2025
An incident of criminal mischief in the third degree was reported on New Hope Road near Sawyerville.
April 1, 2025
An incident involving fraudulent use of a credit or debit card was reported on County Road 19 near Greensboro.
April 3, 2025
A burglary was reported on Tanglewood Road near Akron.
April 5, 2025
Three separate harassment reports were made on First Avenue North near Akron.
