The 3rd Annual Main Street Community Festival, hosted by Hale County Hospital, is just around the corner! Join us on Friday, April 19, from 11 AM to 6 PM on Main Street in Greensboro for a day of fun, music, and purpose.
This year’s festival supports a vital cause—raising funds for renovations to Hale County Hospital’s Emergency Room, which has not been updated since the hospital opened in 1963. Every dollar raised goes directly toward improving emergency care for the people of Hale County.
Our 2025 theme celebrates the people, organizations, and creativity that make this place special. Expect an exciting lineup of live music by Hale County natives Dillon Fischer, Toney Nixon, Jason Irvin, and Tyler Sellers.
Our Kids Section is back and better than ever, with support from amazing local groups like Big Brothers Big Sisters of West Alabama, RAISE (Rural Alliance in STEM Education), Project Horseshoe Farm, Hale County EMS, Greensboro Volunteer Fire Department, Parents as Teachers, Puddle Jumpers, Boys & Girls Club of Greensboro, Sawyerville Day Camp, Boro Bounce, Hale County Library, and the Tuscaloosa Symphony Orchestra. Activities will include arts and crafts, storytime, face painting, fire truck and ambulance tours, science experiments, outdoor games, and so much more.
