LRLEAN, in collaboration with Legal Services Alabama (LSA) and the Perry County and Greene County Offices of Alabama Extension System of Auburn and Alabama A&M Universities are hosting heirs property workshops to provide education and possible legal referrals to landowners with property ownership and title challenges. “Heirs property is an issue that we must address in order for families to maintain their legacies for generations to come and we must first start with education.” Keisha Abrahams, Legal Liaison for LRLEAN.

The workshops will discuss what heirs property is and how we keep property from becoming heirs property. The first workshop this year will take place on Wednesday, March 26, 2025 from 12:00 noon to 1:30pm at the historic Lincoln School. Lunch will be provided. Please RSVP for the event by calling 334-505-9124.
