Hale County Sheriff’s Department released the following report of the department’s recent activities:

Arrests:
March 3, 2025
William Lamont Ezell, 27, of Moundville, was arrested for possession of a controlled substance.

March 7, 2025
Devonte Jamarcus Lewis, 30, of Tuscaloosa, was arrested for failure to appear.

Incidents:
March 5, 2025
Harassing communications were reported on County Road 28 near Sawyerville.

Property damage was reported on County Road 36 near Akron.
