Lena Louise Davis was born on February 22, 1961, to the late Georgia Flood and the late Johnny Scott. She died July 18 at the age of 63. She accepted Christ and joined Greenleaf Missionary Baptist Church, where she was a faithful member of the Choir and a sponsor of the Praise Dance Team.
Lena was a graduate of Greensboro High School. She loved being around family and friends, talking on the phone, and always making people laugh.
Lena leaves to mourn her passing: one loving daughter, Lena D. Davis; two sons, Kelvin Lamont Davis and Willie Tyrone Davis, all of Greensboro, AL; three sisters, Frederica (Willie) Davis of Greensboro, AL, Mary Scott and Bertha Scott, both of Cincinnati, OH; two brothers, Mark Scott and Johnny Scott Jr., both of Cincinnati, OH; four uncles, Charles Davis of Rochester, NY, Bobby (Fannie) Scott of Newbern, AL, Dr. Vernon (Lue) Scott of Tuscaloosa, AL, and William Scott of Cincinnati, OH; fourteen grandchildren; two nieces, Kimberly Davis and Malinda (Quincy) Ward of Greensboro, AL; two nephews, Roderick Davis of Tuscaloosa, AL, and Anthony (Ida) Davis of Greensboro, AL; three special friends, Susie Davis, Betty Dillard, and Mary King; a very devoted cousin, Doris Davis; and a host of other relatives and friends.
The celebration of Lena Louise Davis’s life was held on Saturday, July 27, 2024, at 2:00 PM at Greenleaf Missionary Baptist Church in Greensboro, Alabama. Reverend C.H. Agnew, Pastor, officiated the service.
