Keyshawn L. Patterson, a 20-year-old resident of Uniontown, was fatally injured in a single-vehicle crash that occurred at approximately 1:56 a.m. on Friday, July 26. Patterson was driving a 2008 Honda Accord LX when the vehicle left the roadway and struck a wood fence multiple times. Patterson was not using a seat belt at the time of the crash and was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The crash occurred on Alabama 69 near the 96-mile marker, approximately five miles north of Gallion, in Hale County.
Visitation for Patterson will be held on Friday, August 2,, from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Phillip White’s Julia L. White Funeral Home, located at 322 North Street, Uniontown, Alabama. Additional visitation will take place on Saturday, August 3, from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church, located at 12024 US Hwy 80, Gallion, Alabama.
The funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 3, at 2:00 PM at Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church in Gallion, Alabama. Following the service, burial will take place at Bethel Baptist Church on County Road 61, Uniontown, at 3:50 PM.
