William “Bill” Tolar Rinehart Jr., age 77, of Heiberger, Alabama passed away on Friday, April 5, 2024. Bill is preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Ann Rinehart; his parents, Will T. and Ruth Rinehart; and his daughter, Beth Lake.
He is survived by his son, Bill Rinehart; son-inlaw, Jan Lake; sister, Vicki Nichols (Dennis); brother, Dale Rinehart (Vera); grandchildren, Jake Rinehart (Rebekah), Kade Rinehart, Thomas Lake (Scottie), Leanne Richardson; great grandchildren, Jacob Rinehart, Arden Rinehart, Jack Richardson, Sarah Richardson, and Willow Lake; and several nieces and nephews.
Bill served in the Alabama Army National Guard then was a Dispatcher for the Marion Police Department for 28 years. He was a member of Heiberger United Methodist Church. In his spare time, he enjoyed learning about the Civil War and watching Alabama football. His greatest love was family and he will be missed.
The family would like to thank the staff of Bibb Medical Center Nursing Home for the tremendous care they provided.
A visitation for Bill was held Tuesday, April 9, 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Heiberger Methodist Church, Highway 5, Marion, Alabama 36756, followed by a funeral service at 2:00 PM. B. J. Banks officiated.
Serving as pallbearers: Russell Bamberg, Mark Fike, Paul Hightower, Matthew Nichols, Jason Tucker, and John Morgan Rinehart. Honorary Pallbearers; Jon Tolar Palmer, Mike Holifield, Jasper Tucker, and Dudley Barton Bill was laid to rest in Heiberger Methodist Church Cemetery, Highway 5, Marion, Alabama 36756.
