The Hale County Extension Office will be hosting a FAMACHA Card Certification Workshop on Wednesday, March 27, from 1 PM to 4 PM.
Extension Agents invite those interested in gaining skills in parasite identification, body condition scoring, proper smart drenching techniques, and management strategies for the reduction of parasites in small ruminant populations.
This participating who complete the training will be able to demonstrate skills that will qualify them for a FAMACHA card, which will grant them certification to identify and manage small ruminant parasite loads.
