A large tree fell across North Tuscaloosa Street

A large tree fell across North Tuscaloosa Street in Greensboro on Monday afternoon, taking down power lines and transformers along with it. In addition to backing up traffic as far back as Main Street, the damage to power lines was significant. Some residents’ power was not restored until nearly 9:00 p.m. that evening as crews worked to clean up the mess and repair the damage. Photo courtesy of Gary Allen.
