Alice Tidmore Harris Campbell, age 80 of Moundville, went to be with her Lord and Savior on December 29, 2023. Services were held on Thursday, January 4, 2024 at Magnolia Chapel South at 2:00 pm with Bro. Jimmy Gardner officiating and Magnolia Chapel South directing. Burial followed at Oak Hill Cemetery. Visitation was held at the chapel one hour prior to the service.
Alice was born on March 31, 1943 to Clyde and Lillie Mae (Wiggins) Tidmore. She grew up in Moundville, AL, where she worked at the Bank of Moundville, serving her community for over 20 years. Alice was known for her love of Jesus, her beautiful smile, kindness to everyone, and her sense of humor. She was a cherished mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She was a member of Skyland Baptist Church. Alice most enjoyed time spent with family, reading her Bible and other books, her Sunday school class and taking trips to the beach.
Alice is survived by her two daughters; Diane Harris Massey (Charles) and Noreen Harris Forgrave, brother; Bobby Tidmore(Linda), seven grandchildren; Mitchell Massey, Stacy Taylor(Josh) Lori Kimbrell(David), Austin Forgrave, Kerrigan Forgrave, Kaylie Forgrave, Jase Forgrave and six greatgrandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter; Rindy Harris, son; Steve Harris and husband; James “Butch”Campbell.
Pallbearers are her nephew Rodger Tidmore(Donna), Art Glenn, her grandsons; Mitchell, Austin, Kerrigan, Jase and granddaughter Kaylie.
Honorary pallbearers were Mary Jo Bell, Deron Hallman, Mary Ann Jones, Christine Long, Dorothy Didaway, Emil Turner, members of her Sunday school class at Skyland Baptist Church and friends and coworkers of the Bank of Moundville.
