Tristan Dante Bryant, age 14, passed away on June 20, 2023. He was born on January 24, 2009.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Rebecca Jones; paternal grandfather, Thomas Skipper; and maternal grandfather, Robert Lee Harris.
Tristan is survived by his mother, Stacy Bryant of Sawyerville, AL; his father, Mario Jones of Tuscaloosa, AL; maternal grandmother, Sarah Bryant of Sawyerville, AL; stepgrandmother, Patty Sparks of Tuscaloosa, AL; two brothers, Terrell McCalpine and Tyler Bryant of Sawyerville, AL; and two sisters, Taiyshauna Mc- Calpine of Greensboro, AL and Tianna Bryant of Tuscaloosa, AL. He also leaves behind two nephews, Trevor and River Toeran- McCalpine of Greensboro, AL and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who will cherish his memory.
Visitation was held on Friday, July 7, at the Agnew Funeral Home Chapel in Greensboro, from 12:00 noon until 4:00 p.m.
Funeral services took place on Saturday, July 8, at Greater New Destiny Baptist Church at 11:00 a.m.
Interment followed at St. Matthew Baptist Church Cemetery in Sawyerville. Agnew Funeral Home in Greensboro was entrusted with the final arrangements.
