The Hale County Extension Office unveiled their plans for their youth summer learning experiences, called H.A.L.E.-O Summer. H.A.L.E.-O stands for “Hale’s Amazing Learning Experiences.”

Beginning with H.A.L.E.-O Creativity, children will have the opportunity to create a pillow, increase hand-eye coordination, increase mindfulness, and reduce stress. H.A.L.E.-O Pineapple will allow youth to try fresh pineapple and create a pineapple string art craft.

H.A.L.E.-O Manners will be held at the Hale County Extension Office, where participants will prepare a meal and then learn table etiquette for group settings. Pre-registration is required for this course, with only 15 slots available. Contact the Extension Office to secure a spot.

All of these learning experiences offered are sponsored by funding from the Tombigbee R.C. & D Council in partnership with the Hale County Extension Office. Call 334- 624-8710 to register. Each registered group participant receives a free t-shirt.
