Jualese Epps graduates JSU, named to President’s list for spring

Jualease JuaDrell Epps of Moundville, AL graduated from Jacksonville State University on April 29 with a degree in Nursing. Epps has also been named to the President’s List at JSU for outstanding academic performance over the Spring 2023 semester. To be named to the President’s List, students must earn a perfect 4.0 GPA for the semester while completing at least 12 hours of GPA course credit.

More than 900 students received undergraduate and graduate degrees as part of the university’s spring commencement ceremony at JSU Stadium. Nancy Grace, famed victims’ rights advocate and television legal analyst, was awarded an honorary doctorate and served as keynote speaker. Founded in 1883 as a state teachers college, Jacksonville State University is located in the Appalachian foothills midway between Birmingham and Atlanta.
