Henry J. Tollison was born on May 9, 1958 to Mr. Henry and Allice Tollison. He died Jan. 2 at the age of 64.
He leaves to cherish his precious memories: his wife of twenty-five years, Theresa Carter; three stepchildren, La Tarsha (Gregory) Tubbs, Kevin (Angela) Carter of Sawyerville, Alabama and Laura (Lary) Mills of Tuscaloosa, Alabama; one sister, Diane Tollison of Monroeville, Alabama; two brothers, George and Harold Tollison of Monroeville, Alabama; four sisters-in-law, Francis Carter and Diane Parker both of Sawyerville, Alabama, Edna Carter of Sprinfield Gardens, New York and Josephine (Gregory) Cox of Hawthorn, California; five brothers-in- law, Shedrick (Joyce) Carter of Cleveland, Ohio, Thedore (Pearl) Carter and Jessie Carter both of Sawyerville, Alabama, Frank (Brenda) Carter of Northport, Alabama and John (Valita) Martin, Tuscaloosa, Alabama; eight step grandchildren and three of whom he raised as his own, LaShunna, Aniah and India Ingram; three special neices, Sharon, Ruby and Sherina Carter; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends that will miss him dearly.
Funeral services were held Saturday, Jan. 7 at the Evans Family Cemetery in Sawyerville with the Rev. James Ike Pickens officiating and Washington and Paige Mortuary directing.
