Lula B. Hoskins, better known to family and friends as “Bea,” was born May 30, 1933 to the late Willie & Sennie Smith of Greensboro, Alabama. She furthered her education at Hale County School system.
She married the love of her life, the late Fletcher Hoskins Sr.
She accepted Christ at an early age where she joined Union Grove Missionary Baptist Church Greensboro, Alabama and later joined Rising Start Baptist Church of Greensboro, Alabama.
“Bea “loved her westerns and her word search book. Anytime someone called and asked what she was doing, it was always “watching my TV and marking in my book.”
It was nothing for her to leave town for a day, a week, or a months at a time because she loved to travel. Bea loved spending her quality time with her grandchildren, great-grands and great great grands.
She was preceded in death by her son Fletcher Hoskins Jr, daughters; Lily Mae Hoskins, Betty Howze, Odessa Harris, grandchildren; Pamela Hoskins Sample and Williams Hoskins.
Lula “Bea” Hoskins leaves to cherish her memories her devoted children; Mary Hoskins of Havana, AL, Willie Nell Washington, Henry Hoskins,Greensboro, AL, Mattie (Theodore) Hamilton, Roxzell (Charlene) Hoskins all of Greensboro, AL, Linda Hoskins of Huntsville, Al, a loving and devoted brother William S. Smith, 20 Grandchildren, 45 Great Grandchildren, 21 Great Great Grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends.
