The Hale County USDA Farm Service Agency is mailing out new nomination and election ballots to eligible voters in response to an error found in the original ballots for the FSA County Committee election. LAA 2 was erroneously included causing ballots to be mailed to individuals in and around the following communities: Sawyerville, Greensboro.
New ballots will be mailed which will omit LAA 2 and only include the correct administrative area, LAA 3. Those communities include Arcola, Cedarville, Casemore, Oak Grove, Prairieville, Gallion, Allenville, Whitsitt, Lanevile, and Newbern.
*Important Dates December 2, 2022 Deadline for nomination forms to be returned to the County Office.
January 31, 2023 Final date to return completed ballots (postmarked by this date if mailed).
