Harriet Cobbs Smith, 90 formerly of Greensboro, AL went to her eternal home on September 14, 2022. She was born on July 23, 1932 in Tuscaloosa, AL to Annie Bullard and Nicholas Hamner Cobbs. She was an art teacher for the Tuscaloosa City School system.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, Frank H. Smith. She is survived by her daughter Jessica Smith Kimbrough; her sons Mark H. Smith, MD and Matthew N. Smith; her sister Augusta Cobbs Robinson; and her brother Nicholas Hamner Cobbs, Jr.
She is also survived by eight grandchildren: Lt. Col. Wade Smith, Jaclyn Kimbrough Bacon, Bryant A. Smith, Nicholas Kimbrough, Laura Smith Sawyier, Mallory Smith, Lorin Smith Poore, and Miller Smith; and her nine great-grandchildren: Abigail Smith, Ansley Smith, Connor Smith, Daniel Smith, Grace Kimbrough, Garrett Bacon, Grayson Bacon, Peyton Bacon, and Braxton Smith.
