William Donald Morris, age 85 of Moundville, Alabama, died July 31, 2022 at Hospice of West Alabama.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Ivey Morris and Nannie Odell Morris; brother, Andrew J. Parrish; and son-in-law Barry Wayne McMillan.
He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Edna Osburn Morris of Moundville, Alabama; Daughters, Donna Lynn McMillan of Starkville, Mississippi; Rebecca Carol Townsend of Tuscaloosa, Alabama; Granddaughter, Carol Lynn Seale (Adam); Grandson William Koal McMillan (Haley); and Great Granddaughter Adalyn Grace Seale; Sister, Betty Jean Golden of Greensboro, Alabama.
Don, originally from Greensboro, Alabama, later moved to Moundville, Alabama in 2012. Don retired from the Alabama National Guard as Platoon Sergeant of the 1166 MP CO. in June 1989. He also retired as a Civil Engineer for Alabama Department of Transportation after 41 years.
No funeral or service will be held.
