Demarcus Kendrell
Carlisle died March 13 in
Decatur at the age of 29. He
was born Feb. 19, 1993 in
Hale County to Gwendolyn
and Korey Burrell.
He confessed Christ at
an early age and joined
Friendship Missionary
Baptist Church in Uniontown. He was employed at
PoBoyz in Demopolis.
He is preceded in death
by his paternal grandparents, Dorothy Burrell and
Lee Burrell; an uncle, Lee
Quincy Stoney Burrell; and
a great uncle, David
Carlisle, Sr.
Survivors include a son,
Jordan Carlisle; three
daughters, Aaliyah Carlisle,
Khloe Carlisle, and Keanna
Carlisle; a stepson, Branson
Benefield; two caring and
devoted parents, Gwendolyn and Korey Burrell of
Newbern; a sister, Sabrina
Carlisle of Greensboro; two
brothers, Korey Carlisle of
Uniontown and Desmond
Carlisle of Bakersfield,
Calif.; a niece, Kali
Carlisle; two nephews,
Austin Carlisle and Christian Ausmer; eight aunts,
eleven uncles, ten great-uncles; seven great-aunts, two
special and devoted
cousins, Robert Hogan and
Marcus Scott; a special
friend, Benjamin Vann; and
a host of other relatives and
friends.
Funeral services were
held Saturday, March 26 at
First Baptist Church in
Newbern with Pastor James
Harris officiating and
Washington and Paige
Mortuary directing.
