ServSafe classes planned for April in Greensboro

Alabama Cooperative Extension System will sponsor ServSafe manager classes in Hale and other area counties in 2022. The Hale County class will be held April 26 and 27 at the Hale County Extension Office in Greensboro, located at 701 Hall Street. Classes are $140 per person and include instruction, certification examination, and the 7th edition ServSafe textbook, or $80 per person for instruction and examination, but no textbook. ServSafe is a safe food handling instructional and certification program designed for managers, cooks, chefs, waitstaff, supervisors, owners, and anyone else who works or aspires to work in the food and beverage sector of the hospitality industry. 

All classes run from 10:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on both days with a 30-minute lunch break each day. Register online at www.aces.edu/go/servsafe or contact Alice Moore at 334-216-0738 for more details. Registration should be made at least two weeks in advance of class.
