Magnolia Homemakers hold March meeting here

The Magnolia Homemakers and Community Leaders met on March 15. Nancy Jennings, president, presided. The minutes were provided by Megan Stokes, secretary, and the treasurer’s report was presented by Melvin Cothran, treasurer.

Members brought items for food pantry at Moundville First Baptist Church. Nancy Jennings led the craft project of designing and decorating an Easter cheese box.

Nikki Fair and Pam Hamilton served as hostesses. In addition, Pam Hamilton shared an inspiring devotional and provided each member with a bookmark with Bible verse and the opportunity to put an inked thumbprint to signify each person’s uniqueness.

Nikki Fair presented a program on “Spring Cleaning, Tips and Tricks.” To reinforce her talking points, Nikki shared three printed pages which included helpful and informative facts about cleaning and cleaning tools.

The next meeting will be held on April 19 at 10:30 a.m. at the Hale County Extension Office at Lion’s Park.
